Spray Tan of America® Relocates Operations (April 22, 2006)

Spray Tan of America® announced today that it has moved it base of operations from its original offices in Federal Way, Washington to its new headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. The move was to make the operations more efficient as the company has now embarked on the manufacturing and distribution of their brand name spray tanning solution. Anthony Barbush, who recently took over as President of the company said "This move was a strategic move and now has us closer to our manufacturing and distributions facilities and allows us to incorporate the licensing of our name to small business owners and the ability to provide them with our world class solution, products and expertise." The new move also allows the company to package licensing, solutions, products and technical support to the sunless tanning industry. They will also have lotions and other products for the conventional tanning salons as well, Barbush said.

Spray Tan of America® Reaches 50,000 Milestone (Sept. 24, 2005)

Spray Tan of America® recently announced that they have reached a milestone of 50,000 spray tan applications within their entire organization. Larry B. Jones Founder and CEO made the announcement today upon tallying the numbers submitted by all of their salons. "It took us 3 years to get to this mark and that has surpassed what we had ever hoped for. We have shown that we are here to stay and have gained a foothold into the market place and have outlasted most if not all of the other spray tanning outlets, Jones said. We look forward to the coming years and becoming a mainstay business opportunity for many to enjoy.

California Gets First Spray Tan of America®

Federal Way, Wa. based Spray Tan of America® recently announced the opening of their first franchise in California. The salon, located in the city of Redlands, was Spray Tan of America’s entry into the California tanning market which has seen explosive growth in recent years. The franchise was awarded to Bruce Jones who saw the potential of the airbrush tanning industry and wanted to be part of a new and growing industry. “I thought that if I was going to make things happen with a business, the best time to do it was with a industry that was in its infancy.
